Handmade in our Toronto studio, Lucille is a full grain leather belt that features a broad, rectangle buckle. It can be worn as a waist belt around a dress or a regular belt around some high rise jeans. A versatile piece you'll love and wear forever.
One solid piece of full grain leather. No bonded belts, period. This results in a belt that minimizes stretch and will never break or crack at the holes. Crafted to last a lifetime.
Department stores carry similar looking belts, but they use imitation leather or "genuine leather" (a marketing term), which hardly lasts a few months. All our belts use only the highest quality full grain leather and are lifetime guaranteed.

MADE IN CANADA, ETHICALLY PRODUCED: Every piece of leather made is from a bi-product of the food industry. We strictly avoid suppliers known to sacrifice animals just for the skin. The leather is tanned using an organic method known as vegetable tanning. This method relies on the use of natural vegetable tannins from bark or other plants instead of toxic chemicals.

The most accurate way to find your belt size is to take a measuring tape and a belt you currently own. Measure (in inches) from under the buckle (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use to close the belt. That value will be the size you need. For example, you measure your belt from the buckle to the hole you use and find it is 36''. This means you need a size 36 belt. If you prefer a little extra hang, add two inches to this value.

Wonderful! I asked if this belt could be made to fit a smaller waist to go over clothes (26.5-27”) with a tab so the extra length wouldn’t flop everywhere and more hole punches. They didn’t mind at all and the belt came quickly packaged in a very nice box. Communication was swift. I expected it to be much stiffer but it is nice and flexible and yet very thick and sturdy! This is not an ideal picture (not a dress I got it for) but it’s an excellent belt. I truly appreciate the customer service and would gladly order again.

Absolutely solid, and sizing was perfect. I believe the biggest issue will be for the company will be what to do when they sell high quaility products and people don't come back since its not a consumable vs other cheaper belts out there.
