Our leather comes from hides that are by-products of the food industry. We avoid sourcing from suppliers known to raise or sacrifice animals solely for their skins.

We believe in making thoughtful use of natural materials and creating products designed to serve a purpose for years.

We use a variety of premium leathers, including vegetable-tanned varieties.

Vegetable tanning is a traditional process that uses naturally derived tannins from sources such as tree bark and plants.

Other tanning methods may be used for particular products to achieve different levels of softness, flexibility, colour, and finish.

We select the leather best suited to each product rather than relying on one tanning method for everything.

Full-grain leather retains the natural grain surface of the hide and is valued for its durability, strength, and character.

Genuine leather is a broad term indicating real leather, but it doesn't identify a specific quality grade. The quality can vary significantly depending on how the leather is processed.

PU leather refers to polyurethane-based material, which may be fully synthetic or made with a coated split-leather backing. It doesn't have the same natural grain structure as full-grain leather.

For our signature leather goods, we prioritize high-quality materials designed for lasting performance.

With proper care, well-made full-grain leather goods can last for decades.

Unlike many lower-quality alternatives, full-grain leather can develop character and a rich patina rather than simply deteriorating with age.

Actual longevity depends on the product's construction, how frequently it's used, and how well it's cared for.

The most accurate method is to measure a belt you already own.

Measure from where the buckle meets the leather to the hole you use most often. That measurement, in inches, is the belt size you should order.

For example, if your current belt measures 36 inches to your preferred hole, select a size 36.

As a general rule, we recommend choosing a belt approximately two inches larger than your pants waist size.

For example, if you wear size 34 pants, a size 36 belt is often a good starting point.

However, pants sizing varies between brands, so measuring a belt you already own is always the most reliable option.

It depends on how you plan to wear it.

A belt worn around your natural waist may need a different size than one worn lower on your hips with jeans.

We recommend measuring around the area where you plan to wear the belt and referring to the size information for your selected style.

If you want to wear it around the hips and high waisted, get a larger size and leave an order note for extra holes and we're more than happy to accommodate.

Some belts may stretch slightly over time, depending on the type of leather, thickness, and how they're worn, but generally about 1 inch over the lifetime of the belt.

The main differences are width, leather finish, and buckle style.

Dress belts are typically slimmer, often around 30–35 mm wide, with a more refined finish suitable for dress pants, suits, and formal occasions.

Casual belts are generally wider, often around 38–45 mm, with a more substantial construction designed for jeans, chinos, and everyday wear.
