Crafted by hand in our Toronto studio, the Sophie belt is made from full-grain leather and features a square gold buckle. It can be styled as a waist belt with a dress or worn as a regular belt with high-rise jeans. A versatile piece you'll love and wear forever.
One solid piece of full grain leather. No bonded belts, period. This results in a belt that minimizes stretch and will never break or crack at the holes. Crafted to last a lifetime.
Department stores carry similar looking belts, but they use imitation leather or "genuine leather" (a marketing term), which hardly lasts a few months. All our belts use only the highest quality full grain leather and are lifetime guaranteed.

The leather is tanned using an organic method known as vegetable tanning. This method relies on the use of natural vegetable tannins from bark or other plants instead of toxic chemicals.

The most accurate way to find your belt size is to take a measuring tape and a belt you currently own. Measure (in inches) from under the buckle (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use to close the belt. That value will be the size you need. For example, you measure your belt from the buckle to the hole you use and find it is 36''. This means you need a size 36 belt. If you prefer a little extra hang, add two inches to this value.

Loves the quality, thickness 35mm. But the Kyomi as well. My wife does not like the gold buckle, wears mainly silver/white gold accessories. Quick fix for $10, since the belt has snaps. Scored on quality, sizing recommendations, patina, but 4-star on buckle.

The people at NAB are amazing. I ordered a belt before the holidays and it was too long. I waited until ~2 months later to finally contact them about an exchange, thinking it was too late. Zero issues, mailing it back was free, and they sent the new belt to a different address for me. It's also great quality, and I love that it's made in Canada! This is a really good alternative to buying belts at Aritzia or wherever else a woman is supposed to find a high quality belt in this day and age!

Much cheaper leather and work as compared to the cognac leather Sophie belt. The leather was thinner, the stamping rubbed off immediately. Belt was not cut straight and the width was actually smaller as compared the the cognac belt.
