Handmade in our Toronto studio, Dakota is a full grain leather belt embossed with a classic western pattern and finished with a gold, rounded buckle. Whether riding through rugged terrain or dancing under starlit skies, Dakota will accompany you on all your adventures forever.
One solid piece of full grain leather. No bonded belts, period. This results in a belt that minimizes stretch and will never break or crack at the holes. Crafted to last a lifetime.
Department stores carry similar looking belts, but they use imitation leather or "genuine leather" (a marketing term), which hardly lasts a few months. All our belts use only the highest quality full grain leather and are lifetime guaranteed.

MADE IN CANADA, ETHICALLY PRODUCED: Every piece of leather made is from a bi-product of the food industry. We strictly avoid suppliers known to sacrifice animals just for the skin. The leather is tanned using an organic method known as vegetable tanning. This method relies on the use of natural vegetable tannins from bark or other plants instead of toxic chemicals.

The most accurate way to find your belt size is to take a measuring tape and a belt you currently own. Measure (in inches) from under the buckle (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use to close the belt. That value will be the size you need. For example, you measure your belt from the buckle to the hole you use and find it is 36''. This means you need a size 36 belt. If you prefer a little extra hang, add two inches to this value.

True to size! I measured off a belt I already had and was really happy with the results. Belt seems like good quality, but time will tell that portion. I elected order to the measurement to the third hole to allow for some flexibility for pants with a different waistline and if my body changes a bit. Unique and cool design at a good price point. Was tired of fake leather belts that cost $50!
