This beautiful leather is aniline dyed in a drum giving it unique and vibrant colours. When the leather is stretched or pulled, the colour gets lighter in the pulled areas (also called pull-up leather).

The beauty of this leather is its susceptibility to show colour changes, marks, and a rich patina (shine) over time, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These oil pull-up belts are FULL GRAIN leather and will last a lifetime or longer if taken proper care of.

One solid piece of leather. No bonded belts, period. This results in a belt that minimizes stretch and will never break or crack at the holes. The tough full grain leather is taken from the hide and handcrafted into the last belt that you will ever need.

The most accurate way to find your belt size is to take a measuring tape and a belt you currently own. Measure (in inches) from under the buckle (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use to close the belt. That value will be the size you need. For example, you measure your belt from the buckle to the hole you use and find it is 36''. This means you need a size 36 belt. If you prefer a little extra hang, add two inches to this value.

Purchased the 35 mm Full Grain Distressed Leather Belt. It is a stiff belt, well built. Darker than on the pictures displayed on web site and I do understand the subtleties in tanning and dying but was hoping for a much closer match. The leather is smooth, no pebble finish or raised grained as I thought it would have. Rating also du to not receiving shipping email on timely manner.

Prior to ordering my belt I inquired about sizing. I was told the size 42 would have7 holes (46,44,42,40,38,36,34) starting from the tail end and that 42 would be at the 3rd hole from the tail. As you can see from the uploaded photo, there are only 5 holes. I am currently at the last hole and if I continue to lose more weight I will have to get out my drill and make some more holes. Other than this sizing issue the belt is excellent quality and looks good.

The belt I chose looks very nice. I was looking for a belt with a buckle that would not push into my gut while sitting for prolonged periods of time. Especially while possibly eating too much at special events... After 3 days of wearing the belt on special occasions I can confirm that the belt indeed does not hurt me like my other belts / buckles.
